Vitra is re-issuing George Nelson's oversized clocks from the late 1950's. the collection includes star, sunflower (shown), turbine, and eye. they capture the spirit of the early 1950s and they are still a refreshing alternative to more traditional timepieces nowadays. with a 30" diameter, sunflower is dramatic and over-the-top. constructed of lacquered metal and birch plywood with laminated veneer inside each petal. $1,049CAD @ Babriel Ross Canada.
