German designer Mareike Gast came up with this great concept - broken shelves - providing a more natural way of shelving books. these shelves give space to differently sized books. a special 'sitting' element is also available; an l.e.d. light is integrated for good reading. these shelves can be placed against the wall or stand freely in the room. be creative and play around with the placement of your books. it could become a great piece of visual art in your room.
